The origin story
First-time dog people
The Davis family had never had a dog before Nala. We were complete novices — unsure of what we were getting into, but excited for the adventure ahead.
When she first arrived, she was a tiny bundle of golden fluff with paws too big for her body and eyes full of curiosity. She sniffed every corner of the house and immediately claimed the comfiest spots as her own.
Learning to care for her was a journey. We read books, watched videos, and made plenty of mistakes along the way. But through every chewed shoe, every 3 a.m. potty break, and every muddy paw print on the floor, our love for her only grew stronger.
She taught us patience, responsibility, and the pure joy of unconditional love — the tail wag when we come home, the spin at the word "walk," the gentle nuzzle when we're feeling down. Those are the moments that make it all worth it.
